Since wowing fans with ‘Downfall’ and ‘Psycho’, Maryland singer-songwriter Jasmine Howie has worked hard to ready her debut album. This process, like any meaningful endeavor, is made easier with a good support system.
Jasmine’s mother, Lowanda Madric, serves as a huge inspiration for her project, and her life. Madric, a 15 year breast cancer survivor succumbed to the disease in 2012.
‘Angel’ is a beautiful reflection not only on her loss, but also the lifelong encouragement gained through a bond that not even death could break.
